Running from God?

I believe there are alot of people out there running from God!  You may be one of them!  You sense there is a greater purpose and something more to life, but you just push it down in busy-ness of life.  You sense that if you sat still long enough you might actually hear something, or know [...]

Have you heard it? Have you seen it lived? Have you spoken it? Have you lived it?

The most difficult thing for me these days is to figure out how to speak the truth of Jesus without being brushed off…again…  I feel like I live in an area where once you enter into a conversation about “church,” “god,” or “Jesus” everybody instinctually thinks or believes they’ve already heard everything that a “church” or [...]

I have compiled a small collection of some of our videos (click here to see) from Sojourn Newburgh over the last 1 1/2 years.  I am encouraged to see that God has blessed us and continues to work in and through us in our community.  May he continue to bless us, not that we enjoy our [...]

We invite you to be our guest at Sojourn, a relaxed church with a relaxed atmosphere. We aim to create genuine and purposeful community. Come as you are because our services are casual and there is no dress code; people dress in jeans, shorts, or sweats.

Our children are active! width=

Our children are active!

Unfortunately, we don’t have a real good “techie” among all the children’s leaders that can update all that our children are doing.  We need to collect pictures and get those posted.  They have been bowling and had events and the Sunday school teachers have been awesome in their teaching, prayer, and care for our children!  They are [...]

The "The Crooked Halos" continue to grow and change. They have had some "day retreats" together, helped on Friday night children's events, and still keep Friday night food and teaching in their plans. Keep an "ear to the ground" and/or talk to Billy and Vicki if you have a request/suggestion. They have been, and want to continue to be, open for kids, fun, and food.
