Welcome to Sojourn!
We’re glad you found your way here. Before you start looking around, we simply want to welcome you. We’re a group of regular folks, just like you, who are striving to create a place where we figure out together what Jesus meant when he said “follow me.” We do want to build authentic and safe relationship for healing and personal growth, serve our neighbors in need, and reach out to our friends.
History - This is a brief history of some events for us as a body.
We love children! When you show up, the first thing you may notice is a lot of open space and a relaxed atmosphere for children. Families come in alot of sizes and shapes, and we are quite aware that we each need to adjust to each other’s family needs to be in a growing community together that truly helps one another grow. In our large gathering, we strive to provide a safe environment for your children (infants through 6th grade) to learn in classrooms, and to help them take steps closer to God.
Our Vision - This is a brief discussion of our original vision.
Maybe this is a place for you, maybe not. We are trying to keep it simple, focus on relationships with each other and with the Lord. We are trying to be “missional,” meaning we’re trying to focus less with having a formal missions program and more on the realization we each are living out the mission God has for us in our lives at this time in this place that we find ourselves. We will hopefully push, urge, challenge, and help one another.

We try to take to heart the need to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We want to think creatively and personally about reaching out to our community and doing what Jesus said was most important; loving God and loving others.
Our Leaders - view a list of our leaders and their contact information. We meet Sunday mornings 10:30 but also have several smaller groups to get involved with!
When + Where - learn about our meeting times and location.Sunday mornings we gather in order to be sent. We gather to be grounded in our faith in Jesus by learning to go into all the world (Matthew 28:20), to Love God and love others (Deut 6:5; Mark 12:30,31), to go out and train and teach what Jesus says is the way to life (Matthew 28:20; John 14:6), and to reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight (James 1:27). We know that gathering to Jesus also means being sent into the families we live with, the people we work with, and the world we live in.
