What to Expect

In General

We’re a fairly laid back crew and hold a bit more of a family type gathering. Our gathering starts around 10am with donuts, coffee and conversation, and the service begins around 10:15am. We try to prioritize the presence of God above polish or program, so the formalities of our gathering are sometimes fumbled upon. We laugh at ourselves and with each other, and yet our hearts hold the weight of glory as we encounter Jesus together.

Liturgy & The Church Calendar

Within our gathering you will experience some small elements of liturgy in which we read common prayer, or partake in some historical forms or elements of prayer/worship together. Though not necessarily regular, we do, from time to time, like to engage in reading and reflection of scripture readings from the church calendar, joining alongside many churches and denominations across the globe.

Teaching

Our teaching is most often exegetical in nature, focusing on a passage of scripture, rather than topical. For examples of past sermons feel free to check out our podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

Kids

We believe there’s something important about kids worshiping with their parents. So kids are in the main room with their parents until dismissed after worship to head to the back for their own study and activities during the rest of the service.

Communion

Each Sunday we end our time of teaching focusing around the invitation to the table of communion with Jesus, in which all believers are invited to partake in a time of remembrance, reflection and thanksgiving.

Fifth Sundays

On months that have 5 Sundays, often times we will do a unique “Fifth Sunday Worship” service. These Sundays include scripture readings from the church calendar mixed within a full worship service. There is no kids class on 5th Sundays.
